Exciting News........!!!

I am so hyped that I can finally share some exciting news with you!!! I was asked several months ago to be a Guest Designer for a FABULOUS Canadian Company that I absolutely LOVE!!!!! Can you guess who it is???

I have worked with Upsy Daisy Designs products for a few years now and L.O.V.E. everything about them. The two girls that "ARE" this fantastic company go by the names of Teri & Nicole -- and truthfully I know nothing personal about them -- but chat with them via email several times/every few months, it seems. Someday I will get to meet them personally and hug them and thank them face-to-face for all the fantastic donations they have given me for the numerous classes I have taught in the past few years. Their pattern paper is divine; their rub-ons are a treasure to work with; their acrylic stamps are soooooo much fun; and they have several new products that you just have to check out on their website. check out the layouts I created with the fabulous kit they sent me, click on the link below:

or, if you have no valued interest in my lo's, visit: and check out everything else that's FABULOUS!!!!! They have a rockin' DT.

Next.............just wanted to share some photos that I took of my 5-year-old daughter, Asha this afternoon. She was playing on the swings and she was wearing one of my fave new sundresses. Then we walked to the canola field near our house and had some fun. These will definitely be the next photos I scrap. Will have to look through my pp stash for the perfect paper & embellies.

enjoy your day, Sunshine.

Playing along with Lizzie ......

Recognize this person?? You betcha -- it's the ever-famous Elizabeth Kartchner from Creating Keepsakes. Just LOVE her style and everything she says and does and scraps and creates!!!!! I follow her blog {almost} everyday and love that she is sooooooo Real To Life {and quirkie -- alittle like me}, I must admit. Would totally love to meet her someday.

So.......she posted a contest the other day on her blog and I immediately wanted to {play along}. You can read all about it here: Go check it out today to see what SHE was doing. is what I was doing at -- yesterday.

I totally forgot about it in the morning b/c I was getting ready to head off to my mom's for the day. Then in the evening, we went to our neighbour's to swim and hot tub. When we got home, I did alittle organizing in my ScrapSpace and suddenly realized that "the clock would strike 10:11:12" soon. Yikes!!! Pulled out my camera and TRIED!!!!! to capture some pics of me at my desk. Do you actually know how hard that is?? Trying to get a photo of yourself that is not over-powered by a double chin or a bobble-head smile???? Wow!!! There were some doozies and these were the ones I decided to share.

What was I doing at
Wishing YOU could have been there with me
enjoy your day {from the farm},

Just putting the finishing touches on the H.R.P. {Home Renovation Project} that seems to be taking 4ever!!!!!! They (who are "they" anyway) say that renos are never done, and I totally believe them now. We have light fixtures to still hang, some trim left to do, kick-boards on the island to tack on, artwork to purchase for the d.r, etc. Still lots to do. But......I have been having some fun decorating OUR space with some great finds.

Here's some of my latest faves:

1. a cute little clock I found in Walmart -- my mom laughed when she saw it -- brought back some 70's memories, I think.
2. my d.r. curtains I purchased at Rona. Unexpected find, but fabulous!!!!
3. marble subway tile backsplash for our kitchen -- which is sitting on the floor right now and will stay there 'til a rainy day {cross your fingers that will be tomorrow}.
4. a fabulous {Ty Pennington} lamp found at Sears -- my friend, Lisa actually purchased it first {love shopping with this girl!!!!!}, but she found it was too big for her room. Yeah!!!!!!
5. fabric for curtains for my ScrapSpace closet. The flowers are actually brown velvet. So easy to sew myself.
6. a fantastic wire hanging dress-form in my ScrapSpace -- my idea was to hand my ribbon from the bottom, but that hasn't happened yet. I think I'm loving the clean lines right now.

Still need a few things -- will need a shopping trip again soon.

Stay tuned for some LAYOUTS that I've been meaning to show you!!!!!!!
